Dapol Finescale O Gauge Class 57xx (ex 5775) Pannier GNSR Lined Caramel

1 item left

GWR Pannier Tank No. 5775 was built at Swindon in 1929 and after retirement from BR in 1963 was sold to London Transport for use on engineers' trains. Bought by the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway in 1970, the engine found fame in the 1971 film of 'The Railway Children', for which it gained the fictitious caramel livery of the Great Northern and Southern Railway. It remains at the KWVR today awaiting overhaul. Dapol's model faithfully recaptures the charm of that livery.
