The ubiquitous and workmanlike 08 shunters were arguably BR's most successful design; over 1000 were produced, and they reached all parts of the country. Many exist today, with some backdated to 'heritage' liveries. This BR green example represents the type as seen during the 1960s and displays the excellent slow-speed performance for which these models are renowned. Dapol's item no. 7D-008-009, the model has been fitted with DCC sound using a YouChoos sound file.

Condition Description |
The model is in near mint condition and has just a few light marks to some of the cab glazing. The top directional marker light is intermittent and flickers in both directions. YouChoos paperwork is included for the sound file. |
