Kit Built Finescale O Gauge ex-GWR 'Dean Goods' 2301 Class No. 2538, BR Black, Early Emblem

1 item left

260 of these locomotives were built between 1883-1899 to a design of William Dean, being unusual in GWR practice for the time by having inside frames. Due their light axle loading a few were sent to France in both World Wars to aid in the war effort of transporting supplies. This light axle loading saw them enjoy further use on Welsh branchlines with the last one being withdrawn in 1957. One locomotive has been preserved.

This thought to be Vulcan kit-built model has been finished in BR black with late emblem.
