Their unglamorous but versatile nature makes the LMS' freight engine of choice the perfect addition to any Midland Region layout. No. 43893 was built in 1919 at Derby Works for the Midland Railway and spent its whole life at 20F Skipton Shed. Sadly 43893 was withdrawn and sent for scrapping in 1965, having spent 46 years in service.
