The W1 Class 4-6-4 No.60700 began life in 1930 as the high-pressure boilered 'Hush-hush' experimental locomotive. Overall it was not a success and the loco was re-built in 1937 with a conventional boiler and acquired an A4 style body. It is presented here in the form of the DJH kit (Factory-built) and displays the BR Blue and Early Crest livery carried by the prototype in 1951/2. It is a limited edition model and included is the certificate evidencing it was No.11 of 50 made.
