Description

One of the stunning 55H 9F locomotives, brand new accompanied by 9 coal wagons and a Dapol Brake van. 8 of the wagons are professionally built, painted and weathered by John Jarvis, with the remaining two being from Dapol and have been professionally weathered in-house by Neil.

The 9F was given to our very own Neil Armitage to apply a superb custom finish and he has provided the note:

This model has been weathered to look like a 9F towards the end of steam, sometime around 1966/67. The model has had the following done:
1. Axle box covers painted yellow with red line
2. Over head warning flashers added
3. Heavy weathered finish with
a. oil/water mix on the rear driving wheel
b. Water runs/marks
c. Rust marks
d. Ash under smokebox door
e. Coal in tender with overspill
This particular loco was withdrawn November 1967.
