The T18s/DB78s were the last development of tank locomotive built for the Prussian State Railways. Built between 1912-1927, they were intended to haul services on the island of Rügen. A total of 534 were built and lasted in revenue earning service with Deutsche Reichsbahn until 1975. A total of five have been preserved with various preservation groups and museums.
A real brute of a tank locomotive this Aster model is in excellent un-steamed condition and captures its impressive looks and size brilliantly.
