Kit-built Finescale O Gauge Simplex Z6 (later Y11) Mechanical Horse No.15099

Introduced to replace horse-powered shunting in delivery yards the Simplex  Mechanical Horse was powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine and originally introduced by the North British Railway in 1921. Later it was to be found working in the yard at Ware for many years and this particular loco carried the number 15099 from 1949 through to 1956.
