The Collet-designed Class 58xx were primarily built for branch-line use. Essentially identical to the 14xx class, they lacked the necessary equipment for working Autotrains. This model (Dapol item no.7S-006-051U) is in mint condition and presented in GWR green with 'shirtbutton' logo. It displays beautifully smooth running capabilities, ideal for use on shunting layouts.
