A Little on the Collection

This item is from a stunning single-owner, lifetime collection of British, American & Continental G Scale & Gauge 1 locomotives, coaches & wagons. All models have had an initial clean although some may require a little extra polishing/dusting.

The collection is a mix of items which have been run outdoors and those which have either been on display or have been collected and have remained in their original or respective boxes.

Model condition

Overall, the model is in excellent condition.

There are three glue repair marks, where some minor glue overspill can be seen.

One cab door also has a damaged hinge and is only working on one.

Box condition

Original foam-lined wooden carry box in excellent/near-mint condition

Track Test

All our gauge 1 models are track tested.

In forward, the loco runs superbly.

In reverse, the model doesn't run - this appears to be a DCC issue, as it runs fine in reverse when power is put directly to the motor wires.
