DJH (Factory-Built) Finescale O Gauge 'Britannia' No.70000 'Britannia', BR Green (Early) DCC Sound

1 item left

BR's Standard Class 7 locomotives entered service in the early 1950s on main-line duties throughout England. Generally regarded as a success, their careers were cut short by the coming of the diesels.

This DJH factory-built model depicts the doyenne of the class, 'Britannia', and features the maker's trademark cast metal construction. It has been fitted with DCC sound.

Condition Description

The model is in very good condition overall. There are some minor marks and paint chips to the boiler, running plate, chassis and edges of the cab, and one of the smoke deflectors is slightly bent at the top. The undersides of the leading and trailing bogies have been painted white, and the tender's screw link coupling is missing. Spare screw link couplings and buffer beam details are included in the box. A footplate crew have been fitted. The model would benefit from some further cleaning to nooks and crevices.
