BR's Standard Class 7 locomotives entered service in the early 1950s and were named after famous Britons. 'Charles Dickens' spent its 15-year working life stationed at depots in North West England and North Wales; this fine DJH model features cast metal construction and evokes the commanding presence of the prototype.
