DJH Kit-built Finescale O Gauge Standard Class 9F No.92220 'Evening Star' DCC Sound

1 item left

Emerging with much fanfare from Swindon Works in 1960 'Evening Star' was the last steam locomotive built for British Railways. Effectively redundant from day one with modernisation and dieselisation progressing apace, a desperately short working life of 5 years was to follow, before preservation beckoned. Our model here is DJH factory built and displays the professional construction skills from the one-time north east manufacturer.  Fitted with DCC Sound via a Loksound Decoder the model both looks and sounds like the real thing.
