Believed to be constructed from a Slaters brass kit, this model depicts GWR 'Saint' (or 2900 Class) No.2987 of 1905 construction. Originally a 4-4-0, the loco was named in 1907 and converted to a 4-6-0 in 1912. Featuring excellent paintwork and lining, the model would make an elegant addition to any GWR layout or cabinet.

Condition Description

In overall excellent condition. There are some minor paintwork defects with a small chip on the cab roof, and some marks under the loco chassis/cylinders. The numbers and nameplates require attaching although alternative etches are provide for No.2927 'St Patrick'.
