Introduced from 1926 onwards the LMS 2-6-0 'Crab' was a successful mixed traffic locomotive influenced by both the Lancashire and Yorkshire and Midland Railways. Designed by George Hughes No. 13018 was a product of Horwich works and apart from a brief sojourn in Wakefield spent all its active life in the north east Manchester region. Our model here is professionally built with an excellent paint finish and hand lining.
