Designed by Cooke and built for the LNWR just prior to the Great War these sturdy 4-6-2 'Prince of Wales' tanks were an impressive sight in action. Used on commuter services out of London Euston and also over the challenging Central Wales line they were not long lived and all had met their end by 1941. From an unknown kit this is a well-built model of the type capturing their impressive lines.
