Ellis Clark Trains Projects
Help & Support
The Raven-designed Q6 locomotives were usually to be found slogging away on long freight trains, often of coal and frequently in the North East of the country. LNER No.2261 was no exception, and its long 43-year career was spent in Yorkshire and various points further north before succumbing to the scrap man in 1963. It is represented here in the form of a well-made Gladiator kit, superbly weathered by Neil Armitage to depict the condition in which these locos were so often to be found.
