After the experimental liveries on the first two 'Westerns', Western Pioneer became the second of the class to be released in then standard BR Green. Subsequently re-liveried to maroon and then BR Blue it did not improve the locomotive's longevity and withdrawal came in 1975. Heljan's model No.5290 is an excellent representation of the class and captures the real style of these iconic locos. An excellent smooth runner.
