Iron Horse Models/Precision Scale Co. Southern Pacific GS-4 484 Steam Locomotive 'Daylight' Livery

1 item left

The GS-4 engines were the loco of choice for the Southern Pacific's most prestigious long-distance passenger trains, including the Coast Daylight, the Cascade and the Sunset Limited. Entering service from 1941, the class of 28 engines assumed their glamorous orange and red 'Daylight' livery a few years later, before reverting to black by the mid-1950s. Factory painted by Iron Horse Models, this example features brass construction and captures perfectly the striking presence of the prototype and displays superb performance with formidable haulage capabilities.
