The GWR produced its final four railcars as twin-coupled units; introduced in 1941, these were put to work on the Birmingham to Cardiff route and included such luxuries as a buffet and lavatory. Rarely seen in model form, this set depicts the first of the power twins (nos. 35 and 36) and has been constructed to a high standard from a brass kit. Both cars are powered and feature detailed interiors together with an excellent rendition of BR's crimson and cream livery.
