Golden Age Models Finescale O Gauge A1 No.60129 'Guy Mannering, DCC Sound, Smoke & Pro Weathered

1 item left

The works of Sir Walter Scott were a source of many fine names for a number of ex-LNER Pacifics, none more so than 'Guy Mannering', the eponymous hero of the novel published in 1815. Released as yet un-named from Doncaster in 1949 to the newly Nationalised railways No.60129 was to see only 16 years work on crack East Coast services before dieselisation brought a premature end. This fabulous model from Golden Age perfectly captures the power and poise of the A1's and is presented in a lightly weathered condition.  Fitted with DCC Sound and a smoke unit, with working lights including firebox glow, it is a fine representation of steam super power from the 1950's.
