Built to replace earlier pre-grouping designs on rural routes, the Ivatt Class 2s were a successful mixed traffic design sharing many parts with the Ivatt Class 2 tanks. This example No. 46467 was put into service in 1951, firstly allocated to Cambridge. Lasting in service until 1964, the locomotive was sent to the Scottish Region in 1961, ending its days at Dumfries.
This excellent increasingly rare Sancheng depiction is in excellent condition and has been lightly weathered.
