Help & Support
Here we have the classic Great Western small tank locomotive in the form of 14xx Class No.1450. Constructed at Swindon Works from 1932 onwards the class were not numerous but could be found far and wide across the GWR network. The model here is a product of the Sancheng factory. Fitted with radio control it runs well, but does have some wear issues which are detailed below.

Condition Description |
In overall very good condition there are some condition marks from use: the BR crest on the right tank is incomplete; there are some oil marks on the body side; and two small holes on the rear buffer beam (possibly where a wire had been routed. There are paint/glue marks on the running board above the buffer beam on both sides of the model and the lamp irons are missing, as is one on the rear of the loco. Also a glue mark to the top of the smokebox. The label on the original box is torn and there is some over-writing. |
