Used in dockyards, industry, engine sheds and all manner of locations, almost any steam era layout can make a home for a 'Pug'. Built to a standard design at the Lancashire & Yorkshire's Horwich works, No.51246 saw service at Liverpool's Bank Hall shed before eventual withdrawal in 1961. Heavily weathered to reflect the poor condition in which these diminutive locos were generally to be found, this is the perfect loco for a small shunting layout or railway cameo.
