Our Skipton showroom is open weekdays 9am until 5pm and by appointment on weekends.
Built to a competent standard from what is believed to be an ACE Trains brass kit, this model depicts one of Stroudley's 'E-tanks' that were used throughout the LB&SCR's system (and afterwards the Southern Railway) on mostly short-distance freight and shunting duties.
The model has been fitted with DCC sound but requires attention (possibly to adjust/clean pickups) and maintenance to address poor running.
*Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.

Condition Description |
In overall good condition. There are several minor marks and blemishes to the tops of the tanks, running plate and cab roof. There is also a small adhesive mark on top of the boiler towards the cab end. The paint finish is to a high standard overall but shows signs of over-application/clumping around the edges of the smokebox. |
