Help & Support
From an unknown kit here we have a well constructed and painted class 24. The class 24's were a relatively successful early BR diesel but changing traffic patterns underpinned their demise from the mid 1970's, albeit 4 survived to be preserved. The model here, whilst well finished, requires attention to re-fix the central fuel tanks, and is a poor runner with a very noisy single stage gearbox driving on one axle only.
*Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.

Condition Description |
The model has been well constructed from an unknown kit, and the paint finish is above average. The centrally-mounted fuel tanks which are formed from wood require re-setting and overall the model would benefit from re-motoring and potentially a drive system to both axles on one bogie (Delrin chain??). |
