Heljan's imposing model of the 'Falcon' prototype (item no. 5352) looks particularly pleasing in BR blue, which depicts the engine following its purchase by BR in 1970. It remained in service until 1975 and spent its final years hauling iron ore trains in South Wales. This model is in near mint condition but suffers from poor running due to split gears, for which replacements will need to be sourced.
Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.
