Help & Support
Despite the impressive look of these ex-Furness Railway 'Baltic' Tanks they were not a roaring success with their new owners, the LMS, and this particular loco enjoyed only 14 years in service. Built from a Gladiator kit to a reasonable standard this model requires further work to restore it to A1 standard.
*Please note that items sold via The Workshop are not covered by our usual warranty and are intended as project pieces requiring maintenance and/or rectification.

Condition Description |
The loco runs albeit hesitantly and requires attention to pick-ups and a general/thorough clean. An excess of oil on all moving parts requires removing in addition to surface restoration of the (Slaters) wheels which are slightly oxidised from storage in damp conditions. The smokebox door requires removal and correctly fitting. Steam/vac pipes are broken or missing. |
