Painted in a unusual dark green livery, inspiration for this was drawn by SOU president Fairfax Harrison when he travelled to the UK and witnessed Gresley's A1\/A3s on the East Coast. Due to this the locomotives gained the nicknames of The Harrison Engines. One locomotive No. 1401 has been preserved.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eFactory built in brass, this locomotive would make a great restoration project to get it into operational condition.
