Newsletter No. 22
Good Morning everyone,
It's been a superb start to 2018, and the year is showing no signs of letting up. In my last newsletter I wrote about what to expect from us this year, and since then we've added more ideas to the list.
For those attending Model Rail Glasgow this February you'll get the chance to see the all new Darstaed stand, twinned with our stall full of the usual OO, HO, O gauge and more! The new stand will feature the highly rated Mk1s along with information on whats to come next from the brand, videos of the Mk1s on Over Peover, and a chance to speak to speak to the man behind Darstaed, Andries Grabowsky.
Closer at hand is the Bristol O gauge show. By then we should have the blue/grey Mk1s making four available liveries. These blue/grey coaches will also be the first livery to feature the Commonwealth bogies (which will also be available separately as replacements to the Mk1 bogies).
Website Updates
One of our main aims at Ellis Clark Trains is to provide a website which is constantly updated with new products and news, along with great product pictures and descriptions, therefore we are currently working on updating our product descriptions with 'Tabs'. These will appear below product photos and will categorize the description into condition, track test, features and so on. Simply click on the desired tab to see the information underneath (currently selected tab will be in maroon, non-selected tabs in a pink like colour).
The Biggest Little Railway in the World
For those who started watching the above program on Chanel 4 last Sunday, you may have recognized a broad Yorkshire voice accompanied with a handsome face... me, of course! An interesting 5 part series based on making a 70 mile model railway in the North of Scotland. Makes for an interesting watch!
Upcoming Stock
This week we will be uploading more O gauge to the website, including two beautiful American O gauge locos alongside a Martin Finney 61xx and some Bachmann Brassworks Mk1 Suburbans. There will also be two Roundhouse engines added to the site. On our eBay store we will be adding the first of a superb and largely unused LGB G scale collection.
As always if there is anything you would like to hear more of in these newsletters then please get in touch. Likewise, if you think we can improve on our website or service in any way then please let us know, no matter how critical - we're always looking to improve!
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Kindest regards,
Ellis.
