WORKSHOP Finescale O Gauge (Kit/Scratch-Built) ex-GNR D2/D3 No. 4365, LNER Black

1 item left

Introduced as Henry Ivatt's last 4-4-0 design the D2/D3s were built to haul the GNRs heaviest express trains at the time. Quickly becoming underpowered for the top express duties, the class were moved to the Scottish region of the LNER, replacing North British 4-4-0s. All of the class were withdrawn by 1950, with non being preserved.

This kit/scratch built model has been constructed from entirely brass and cast components and would benefit from a full strip down to get it to full working order again. The chassis also needs isolating from the body as this causes short circuits when attached.
