Wilson Wordsell's workmanlike G5 tanks entered service with the North Eastern Railway from 1894 and found work primarily on suburban and branch-line passenger trains throughout the region.
Constructed to a high standard from a DJH cast metal kit, this model features excellent weight and presence together with competent paint finish and solid running characteristics.

Condition Description |
In excellent condition overall. There is slight evidence of brush marks to the paint finish on the tank and bunker sides. The area in the immediate vicinity of the valves has been lightly weathered to represent seepage. A cab crew has been fitted. |
