To service in 1930 GWR O-6-0 No.2268 was one of 120 locomotives to a design by Charles Collett, albeit much of the chassis design dates back to the earlier Dean Goods. Quite widespread across the GWR network our model here started life in the West Country but ended its days in Central Wales.
Built to a good standard from a Martin Finney kit the model has been moderately weathered and with early crest represents the loco in the early British Railways' period.
