Finescale O Gauge (Kit-Built) LNWR Webb Coal Tank No. 7629 LMS Black, DCC Sound

1 item left

First introduced in 1881, 300 of these tank locomotives were built for the LNWR to haul slow coal and goods trains. Classified 2F by the LMS these locomotives quickly became underpowered and withdrawals started as early as 1921, with some being put on motor train workings. 64 locomotives passed into BR ownership with one No. 1054 being preserved.

Built from brass and cast metal from an unknown kit, this model has also been further enhanced with DCC Sound, firebox flicker and fitted crew.
