Pre-Owned Finescale O Gauge
OO Gauge Projects
Built as a progression on the Aspinall Class 5, Hughes introduced this 'beefed up' version from 1911-1914. Classified 3P, the main modifications included superheating, long smoke boxes, belpaire fireboxes and larger big end bearings and cylinders. In total 64 ended up in the guise, with non being preserved in this form. One locomotive in original Class 5 form has been preserved by the NRM.
Built from cast metal and brass components this model is an excellent runner.
