Pre-Owned Finescale O Gauge
OO Gauge Projects
The L&Y Pug was first introduced in 1886 by John Aspinall for light shunting duties and industrial / dock use, with their short wheel base making them ideal for this work. In total 60 were produced and had varied working lives, with some of the class lasting in service until 1964. Happily, two examples have been preserved, with this one, No. 11218 (51218) being the first locomotive preserved on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway in 1965.
Built from brass and cast metal components, this small but weighty 0-4-0ST has been constructed from an unknown kit and further enhanced with DCC Sound.
