These unusual coaches for the LMS were built to handle high density and excursion traffic in 1937. The coaches lasted in service until 1966. This rake includes two articulated sets, 55005 + 55004 and 52503 + 52502.
Presented in LMS maroon these coaches have a lovely metallic sheen.
