Finescale O Gauge GWR 4575 Class 2-6-2 Tank No.4588, GWR Lined Green

1 item left

GWR 'Prairie' Tank No.4588 was one of the first locomotives to be rescued from Dai Wooodham's Barry scrapyard and has now spent longer in preservation than it did in mainline service. Regrettably now out of traffic and based at Peak Rail in Derbyshire it waits its turn for future overhaul.  Our model here, constructed by the much respected model-maker Derek Lawrence, fully captures the punchy nature of these 4575 Class tanks, 100 of which were built for the Great Western. In excellent condition and a nice runner.
