Heljan O Gauge Class 17 'Clayton' No.D8510, BR Blue, FYE

1 item left

New from Beyer-Peacock Works in 1962, D8510 was one of the Clayton-designed Type 1's that was to receive BR Blue livery. This modern improved look was not however sufficient to save the loco and poor reliability combined with rapidly declining traffic ensured a short life, and the loco was no more by 1972. Our model here, model number 1752, is an excellent runner and this example is in excellent condition.
