Kit-built Finescale O Gauge K&ESR Ilfracombe Goods 0-6-0 'Rother' No. 7

Notify me when this product is available:

Originally built for the LSWR as part of the 282 class in 1873, 'Rother' was the first of two of its type to be purchased by Colonel Stephens for use on the K&ESR. Purchased in 1910 the locomotive quickly became a favoured choice for the railways mixed traffic duties. Unfortunately due to a lack of finances available for maintenance, 'Rother' was sold and cut for scrap in 1932.

Presented here is the locomotive in its 1889 rebuilt form finished in the attractive K&ESR blue.
