Built from what appears to be scratch made components, this rare example of the NER's swansong has been constructed using brass and cast metal. Finished in LNER Apple Green, these locomotives were built at the very end of the NER with only two of the five built seeing service with the company. Sadly these machines were bested at the grouping by Gresley's A1s and were all withdrawn and scrapped by 1937.

Condition Description |
Model appears to be scratch built to a good standard. A few chip marks present to the bodywork in various places. Tender lining not done square. Loco missing some coupling chains. Hand lining done to a fair standard. Cab not fitted square to the boiler. |
