Ace Trains Coarse Scale O Gauge GWR Castle Class No. 5079 'Lysander' 2/3 Rail

1 item left

Designed by Charles Collett and built at Swindon Works in May 1939, 'Lysander' was one of the GWR's 171 'Castle' locomotives. Originally named 'Lydford Castle', the locomotive was renamed (in 1939) after the British Army's unassuming reconnaissance aircraft that went on to perform a crucial role in Special Operations during World War 2. The engine was withdrawn in 1960.

This Coarse Scale model is in mint condition and finished in GWR wartime plain green, with blacked-out window plates and a working firebox flicker.
