A mint-condition example of Bassett-Lowke's N Class 2-6-0 steam engine, featuring tinplate/die-cast construction and suitable for two/three-rail operation on curves down to 3ft radius. Built at Ashford in 1922, no. 31816 was based at Guildford when withdrawn in 1966.
