The ubiquitous and workmanlike 08 shunters were arguably BR's most successful design; over 1000 were produced, and they reached all parts of the country. Many exist today, with some backdated to 'heritage' liveries. This BR blue example (Dapol item no. 7D-008-006D) represents the type as seen during the 1970s and early 1980s and displays the excellent slow-speed performance for which Dapol's model is renowned. It features factory-fitted DCC sound.

Condition Description |
The model is in excellent overall condition, with a few light marks to the running plate and tops of the battery boxes. The box is missing some of its original interior foam; extra packing has been added to secure the model. |
