Built in considerable numbers the large 'Austerity' type 0-6-0s were a common sight on both the National Rail Network and private rail complexes, especially collieries. Designed during the war by Robert Riddles as a rough-tough locomotive for shunting and trip working almost 400 were built with the LNER ultimately acquiring 75 as their 'J94' class.  

Finished in the attractive United Steel Lined Red livery this Dapol model features working inside valve gear and firebox flicker.
