Designed by James Holden for commuter workings and built between 1890 and 1901 at Stratford Works, a number of this Class of 'Buckjumpers' were rebuilt between 1904 and 1921 and served the GER as suburban service engines working alongside their Class S56 sisters.

Condition Description

Good Overall - Significant burn marks to boiler, front of cab and around chimney base. Deep scratches around base of chimney revealing brass beneath paint. Hardened residue at base of one tank. Scratches on running board around one valve. Some water mark staining across top of model that may polish out.
