Heljan's superb model of the Class 52 'Western' is impressively weighty, with a smooth and powerful mechanism. This as-new factory weathered model, Heljan 5294, portrays 'Western Rifleman' in the condition these fine locomotives are frequently remembered. New from Crewe Works in 1963 this particular loco was to achieve only 12 years in service before it fell to the cutters torch.
