To the design of HA Ivatt but actually to traffic with British Railways in 1948, this is a lovely model of his hard-working 2-6-2 tank locomotive. Very much an itinerant engine No.41214 wandered far and wide from the West Country to Lancaster Green Ayre, but finished its days on the Somerset & Dorset and Templecombe shed. The model here is a DJH factory-produced kit finished in un-lined BR Black with Late Crest and benefits from DCC Sound via a Zimo decoder.
