Introduced from 1959 the Class 128 Parcels Units were built specifically for the carriage of parcels traffic operating on the Western and Midland Regions. Unit No.M55995 as modelled here was in traffic for over 20 years but like the rest of the class fell to withdrawal and scrapping, with none preserved.
