Designed and built from 1957 in British Railways' own workshops, the Class 03 shunters were employed far and wide on duties ranging from station pilot to industrial workhorse. D2383 had a Great Western pedigree being built at Swindon Works in August 1961 but like many of its brethren had a relatively short life, being withdrawn in April 1971. The model here is a factory produced unit from the DJH stable.

Condition Description |
One or two minor chip marks present to the overall bodywork. Missing one rear lamp and marks to the rear buffer beam where a fitting has been removed. Model fitted with Kadee couplings. |
